- Garage Supervisor: I'm sorry, Mr. Lautner, it's not quite ready yet.
- Ed Lautner: Not quite ready? Look at this. My car is, laid out like somebody's science project.
- Garage Supervisor: Well, w'we gave you that estimate before we understood the extend of the damage.

- Garage Supervisor: Could I help you, miss?
- Jenny Todd: Um, Yes. You said my car was ready.
- Ed Lautner: You realize I scheduled my life, around you promise, that my car would be ready, Friday.
- Garage Supervisor: [to Jenny Todd] It looks like you're all set.
- [to Ed Lautner]
- Garage Supervisor: I'm sorry Mr. Lautner.
- Ed Lautner: I appreciate that, I really do, but I've got that most important meeting of MY LIFE! This morning, and um, I'm stuck without a car.

- Garage Supervisor: I would suggest that.

- Garage Supervisor: Than, it's a good thing we're here, huh?

- Garage Supervisor: We took, GOOD car of it. Just go see the cashier.
- Ed Lautner: So where do I rent a car?
- Garage Supervisor: Well, there's uh, A1 Rent-A-Car, it's about six or seven miles, right of that way.

- Garage Supervisor: Oh, well, Jose can take ya. Uh,
- [to Mechanic, shouting]
- Garage Supervisor: Johnny! Where's Jose? When he say he'll be back?
- Mechanic: I don't know!
- Ed Lautner: [to himself] Oh my God.
- Dexter 'Dex' Strang: [Sees Ed get a cigarette] Smoking kills, ya know? Makes ya dead.
- Ed Lautner: So does skateboarding.
- Dexter 'Dex' Strang: I mean statistically though, think of your kid.
- Ed Lautner: It's not my kid.
- Dexter 'Dex' Strang: Well, who's evers.
- Jenny Todd: Actually, I would prefer if you didn't. The baby and us.
- Dexter 'Dex' Strang: The baby, I told you.
- Ed Lautner: Oh, right.
