- Simba: [Asleep in Pride Rock is having a horrible nightmare about rescuing his father Mufasa on the cliff from the stampede]
- Mufasa: Simba! Simba! Help me!
- Simba: Father!
- [He reaches his right paw out to his dad but he turns his head around and sees his Uncle Scar standing at the top of the ledge laughing]
- Simba: evily
- Scar: [On top of the ledge laughing evily moves closer to Simba]
- Simba: No! Dad! Just a little farther!
- [He almost has his dad's paw but Scar grabs his left paw]
- Scar: Gotcha! Trust me!
- Mufasa: Simba!
- [He begins to fall down the cliff]
- Simba: No!
- Mufasa: [Lets go of the cliff and falls to his death in the stampede]
- Simba: [Turns to his uncle in anger] Scar!
- Scar: [laughs evily as he turns into Kovu]
- Kovu: [laughs evily]
- Simba: [Gasps and confused] Kovu?
- Kovu: [Throws Simba off the cliff and into the stampede]
- Simba: No!
- [as he falls to his death into the stampede]
- Simba: [Wakes up from his nightmare and pants heavily looking around Pride Rock wondering if he should trust Kovu or not and then goes back to sleep]
