But once Kader Khan's character dies, the movie collapses into chaos. The storyline loses direction and turns into a collection of absurd, over-the-top sequences that insult the viewer's intelligence. The plot twist where Akshay Kumar, the son of a gangster, suddenly becomes a police officer is perhaps one of the most laughable and illogical points in the film. In what world does the son of a known criminal, who himself is involved in underworld activity, get a government job-let alone as a law enforcer? This isn't just unrealistic, it's downright stupid.
The director, Jagdish A. Sharma, clearly had no control over the script after the halfway mark. Instead of a tight crime drama, he delivers a mess of forced action scenes, loud villains, and mindless drama. Characters stop making sense, and the narrative becomes both predictable and unintentionally comical.
Sapoot tries to be The Godfather, but ends up a badly written caricature. It wastes talented actors like Kader Khan, and drags down the reputation of stars like Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty by giving them roles filled with illogical decisions and zero dept.
But I appreciate some comedy scenes that are slipped in the middle of the story. They cannot be forgotten. Likewise with the action scenes carried out by Akshay and Sunil. Even more shocking to him, Akshay did it all without a stunt double.
Rating for music, I say if the film's music is so disappointing.
Although it's not too bad, with one song that I still can't forget, which is Tera Yeh Dekh Ke Chehra. For the song Kajal Teri Aankhon Ka, I feel disappointed with the choreography and the song. This song has similarities to Anu Malik's own song, i.e
Story is about the 2 sons of a golden-hearted ganglord who have to fight against their enemies and face many obstacles to achieve their goals.
The good - Some action sequences, the climax, some dialogues, the music.
The bad- Some phattu scenes (you watch and see), some unnecessary song sequences, some overacting, directorial goofs.
Can be watched, but only if you have the patience to sit for 3 hours for this. I did!
Doing all those stunts himself.
Its a typical bollywood movie and truly a watchable one, esp now. Reminiscing of how the 90s had been.
I have the stars spiked up just for Akshay kumarz extremely dangerous stunts.

Raj Singhania: Am I late?
Mr. Johnson: You are late, Mr. Raj Singhania. Because the estimate that you have made for our ship much more than that has come from outside parties. And a good businessman does not make a loss-making deal.
Raj Singhania: Mr. Johnson, nobody faces a loss dealing with us. And when we make an offer, no one refuses us.
Mr. Johnson: And what if I do so?
Raj Singhania: Then you should quickly find out about the city's scrap dealers.
Mr. Johnson: But why?
Raj Singhania: Because when a ship is blown up by a bomb, its scrap can be purchased by a scrap dealer.
Mr. Johnson: [Sweating in fear]
