Misleading Title
With a running time of over ten minutes this is quite a long film for it's time, but one thing it doesn't actually show is the coronation of King Peter - which is a bit of a drawback when the film's title is The Coronation of King Peter 1. In fact, it's entirely likely that this film is the same as the film on this site listed under the title of Krunisanje Kralja Petra I Karadjordjevica (which translates as The Coronation of King Peter the First). Why both films have received such a high rating (over 9) escapes me.
The film does serve as a valuable historical document, but most of what it shows is comprised of military brass dressed up in their best suits wandering around or riding their horses. I did spot the new king in one shot, looking uncomfortable as he passed the camera in horseback, bedecked in heavy crown and ermine.
