What a strange fan-service anime
This is my first review focusing on any fan-service anime OVA, put under the genre Ecchi.
"Jungle de Ikou" is an anime OVA, which mostly focuses on fan-service and weird humor. It was made by director Yuyi Moriyama, year 1997.
There are NO spoilers in this review, just the basic plot and the content generally, so you can feel free to read this review. ;-)
Basic plot: A schoolgirl named Natsumi Rokudo receives ancient sculpture from her archaeological father, without knowing that a demon named Ongo is sealed in it. In one night she dreams about a spirit named Ahem telling her about a legend about the awakening of Ongo (who will in the worst case destroy the Earth), as well as telling her to do a "sexy tribal dance" in order to transform into Mii, the spirit of flower, fertility and reproduction. And when Natsumi awakens from the dream, small Ongo appears in front of Natsumi's eyes...
Enough about the plot in order to avoid spoilers, this is just the beginning of what happens to be a humorous adventure filled with hilarious fan-service (which involves huge breasts and panty shots), so I think the fans of this kind of anime will probably "get some nosebleed", according to what a Japanese myth says. The animation is very 90s, hence the fact this 3-part OVA-series was made in 1997. The action itself is enough to keep you entertained. The opening sequence is just weird. Not exactly an anime OVA to be viewed to children, just to have it warned.
So basically I will recommend fans of Ecchi-anime to watch this at least once. Several other fan-service Animes include: "Megami Paradise", "Puni Puni Poemi", "Agent Aika", "Arcade Gamer Fubuki" and "Labyrinth of Flames".
So "get some nosebleeds", folks... ;-)

Hilariously inappropriate anime
I'll heartily recommend this for fans of off-the-wall anime in the school of Jungle wa itsumo hale nochi guu, Captain tsubasa, Super gals kotobuki ran and Sexy commando sugoiyu. The plot centers on a 12 year old girl given the power to change into a massively chested fertility goddess by performing a "sexy dance" (how she learns this is one of the funniest scenes ive ever seen), and her subsequent use of this 'power' to save the world from a demon. The film never skips a chance to show off her panties for some reason, and there is so much juvenile sexual innuendo scattered throughout the three episodes it had me shaking my head and grinning madly in disbelief. This is quite a strange little collection of ideas they put in motion. Essentially the movie is about gigantic breasts and showing them off in the most ludicrous contexts imaginable, such as surfing on a flying whale or squished against the canopy of an F15 fighter.
If you take this for what it is; Slapstick comedy with a slightly oversexed but entirely benevolent heart, youll find it to be quite an entertaining and lovable flick. I know it had me in stitches at certain points. Seven out of ten! :)

«The magic of New Guinea is the greatest in the whole world.»
Weird Japanese anime in three episodes (happenings) directed, written and animated by Yuji Moriyama (Project A-ko) for Chaos Project studio (Geobreeders, from the same), with a music by Masami Okui (Magic User's Club) and Toshiro Yabuki (Ai no kusabi).
Natsumi (Japanese voice of Eri Sendai, Jin-Roh, in her first anime role) is a young Tokyo schoolgirl who always fight like a tomboy with her lazy friend the boy Takuma (voice of Kappei Yamaguchi, Ranma 1/2). Her mother Haruka (voice of Mako Hyodo, Macross Plus) is a loving housewife, and her father Fuyuhiko (voice of Ryusuke Obayashi, Patlabor) an adventurous archaeologist.
During an expedition in the jungle of New Guinea (not precised if it's the western or eastern part, but it handles this close exoticism which Japanese keep the nostalgia of from their brief presence), Fuyuhiko finds a Southeast Asian-like ruined temple containing the relics of the old earth god Ahem (voice of Kaneta Kimotsuki, Doraemon), which he brings back to Japan. He gives to his daughter a strange statuette, and Natsumi takes its gemstones as earrings. In her dreams Ahem warns her she has awaken the trees god Ongo (voice of Megumi Hayashibara, Neon Genesis Evangelion) who might turn bad. To fight the presence of evil, she has to transform herself into the buxom goddess of flowers Mii.
Will Natsumi manage to keep Ongo on the good side? Will she succeed in protecting Japan against the evil forces which threaten it (an allusion to the warnings of Masuda's Prophecies of Nostradamus movie, which took also place in part in New Guinea, is even made)? And will she achieve to "save the world as the magical girl Mii, the big breasted goddess"? Will she handle properly for herself her initiation nearby the gods of New Guinea jungle? And will her shy comrade the girl Nami (voice of Sumie Baba, Comic Party), linked on her side to the water goddess Rongo (voice of Sumi Shimamoto, Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind), rather help or challenge her during her quest?
The film shows the coming of age of the heroine from her first menses to the awakening of her "maternal spirit", choosing New Guinea's spirits for conductors, as since the anthropologists Malinowski and Mead the country has been supposed to offer an unbridled sexuality. We see thus the huge penis sheath of the Papuan god, Asaro Mudmen-like figures and lecherous sexual dances, alike for example the Trobriands' ones.
The level of the anime is bluntly put by "a girl's value is set by her breasts size". To whom should the movie talk? To frustrated teenagers? In a short format, it could have given a kind of interesting surrealist essay. But through one and a half hour of bawdy jokes within a fluctuating script, it becomes simply inane and unbearable.
