Mr. D.
- Michael D'Angelo: How much time do we have?
- [students look at the clock]
- Michael D'Angelo: The answer to that question, you're not going to find on a clock. The answer is not a lot. How much time do we have? Not a lot.
- Michael D'Angelo: Education is truly a hero's journey, and it seems to me that going to school is a lot like a Star Wars movie. You're all Luke Skywalkers or Lucy Skywalkers, whichever applies, and school is just one of the many places that you're going to receive your Jedi training. Because we need to get ready to go do battle against the Evil Empire. Now, the Evil Empire is not our school, our parents, or even the questionable meat products in the cafeteria. No. You see, the Evil Empire is a belief. It's believing that we have limitations. You don't. Whether you realize it or not, every single one of you is perfect. Norman Warner was my Jedi Master, and the greatest lesson that he taught me was that I was my own teacher, I was my own master. And the lesson that I hope to teach all of you is to not worry about what you're doing, because it doesn't matter. Worry about who you are being. You do that, and there's absolutely nothing stopping you from going out in this world and kicking some serious ass.
- Michael D'Angelo: We're down by about thirty goals.
- Clyde: Uh... 30 points.
- Michael D'Angelo: Thirty goals *and* thirty points? Okay, so we have no chance of winning this game. But are we all having fun?
- Matt Warner: Mind if we join you?
- Michael D'Angelo: [dressed as an Indian Chief] All tribes welcome. Hear me, my chiefs. My heart is weak... it's sick. Though the flesh may turn to dust, my soul will stand strong and soar higher than ever before, like the distant echo of a beating drum, breathing life like the wind. Part of all living things. Now and forever.
- Michael D'Angelo: Mrs. Warner, I'm Michael D'Angelo. I work with...
- [1:17:20]
- Ellie Warner: ...my husband. Do you have any idea where he is?
- Michael D'Angelo: You know, I wouldn't worry about him too much. He's been following me since yesterday afternoon.
- Michael D'Angelo: You should know that I'm spoken for.
- Denise Davies: Actions speak louder than words
- [the two kiss]
- Denise Davies: It's getting late. Do you have to go? How much time do you have?
- Michael D'Angelo: Not a lot.
- Michael D'Angelo: Oh, this is the greatest find of all time. Ladies and gentleman - Swimsuit edition. March.
- Michael D'Angelo: I would really, really like us to go have coffee sometime... or go bowling.
- Denise Davies: Bowling? Oh, yeah. I'm pretty sure I like bowling.
- Michael D'Angelo: But the fact is; I can't.
- Denise Davies: Oh, sure. I understand.
- Michael D'Angelo: [shouts] EVERYBODY SHUT UP! Can anybody tell me what that was an example of?
- Chase Witherspoon: A dictator.
