Vinyl Dolls

Face it. You got this movie because of the sex scenes or because you are a fan of Tiffany Shepis. The idea is not bad overall and could've been used in a movie with a better budget but I thank the producers for making it a b-movie with lots of sex.

The best feature about "Vinyl Dolls" (Sex Goddesses is the title for the movie in Mèxico...) are the hot women.

Jezebelle Bond, Tiffany Shepis and company make a hot rock band and one of the most attractive casts I've seen. The sex scenes are kinky and long. The actresses fore-mentioned deliver the best scenes in my opinion.

Watch this movie if you enjoy pop-punk, hot sexy women, and hot sex scenes. This is my kind of entertainment. Be sure to get the unrated DVD.

An all-female rock band loses their lead guitarist. A new guitarist joins the band but she has a past that might get in the way as the band is about to break through. And everyone has sex at some point.

I guess many watch these movies for the softcore sex. Those scenes did not impress me. I found myself fast-forwarding thru most of the sex scenes.

The story was okay but lacked substance. As a professional musician myself there were several things that bothered me. One was that everyone called guitarists "pickers" although that is used in country music and this is a rock band. The other was Nola who came with one single guitar is playing a Gibson Les Paul style guitar on stage. But off stage she has a Fender style guitar and the case is clearly a Fender case. Third is that it seemed there was an attempt to make the girls look like they actually were playing (everything is lip synced) but some would stop playing in the middle of a song and stop pretending to play way before the song actually ended.

The acting was alright. The script was very weak. The direction was just bad. The sex was not exciting. But if you keep a finger on fast-forward you could get thru this movie.
