Goofs

Coyote Waits

Edit

Continuity

When Jim Chee is at his relative's house, the windmill changes directions, in totally opposite directions, as the wind direction changes between shots.
When officer Chee is driving on the deserted road, passing through several small tunnels, close-ups of him behind the wheel show a roof rack instead of the light bar for his Dodge Dakota patrol vehicle. This happens twice in this series of scenes.
When officer Chee (Adam Beach) is driving on the deserted road, passing through several small tunnels, close-ups of him behind the wheel show a roof rack instead of the light bar for his Dodge Dakota patrol vehicle. This happens twice in this series of scenes.

Factual errors

When Chee initiates the felony stop of Ashley Pinto on the deserted road - no law enforcement officer would let the suspect turn and face him prior to putting the hand cuffs on. The suspect would be flat on his stomach, arm and legs spread and facing away from the officer before the officer would approach the suspect.

Crew or equipment visible

The scene with Leaphorn and his wife looking at the rock painting "I LOVE JEN". You can see the cameramen and camera in Leaphorn's sun classes.
