This debut directorial bragged the first place in slap stick comedy genre for decades, ruling the industry and peoples mind alike.

For it's ability to make you laugh, even a car got place in everybody's heart, forget the hero, it's totally a comedy by anybody in the frame, let it be a psycho, thief or a terrorist.

This comedy slapstick Malayalam movie got a huge fan base and going to exist in any decades to go all to it's capacity to make you die out of laughing.

The freshness remained whenever tried to watch again, little over the romance in the second make you drown, all to take you out to fall in love it back in the climax.

I do not think any Malayali born before 2010 has not watched CID Moosa atleast thrice. It is not so much about the cinematic prowess or emotinal story line which made this film such a classic. It is all about the timeless slapstick comedic moments,music and hilarious performances by the actors which has etched this piece into the hearts of malayalis and give it its endless rewatch value.

This film was box office in theaters at that time. There is a huge fan base for this film today. The production quality of this film is outstanding. Supporting actors, Vidyaji's music,Moosa's dog, car, etc. Give life to this film.

This film's comedies are hilarious. Moosa is like Jhonny English; he solves his cases due to his luck. Jagathy, Salim Kumar, Harisree Asokan, Kochin Haneefa, etc. Are the best supporting characters in this film. This film had great repeat value until today. Every 90's kid gets goosebumps when it comes to television. This film completed shooting just before its release.

If you want to have some laughter throughout, this is the movie to watch. Veteran actor Jakathi Sreekumar is outstanding as ever in this comedy flick. Harisree Ashokan and Late Cochin Haneefa also did a wonderful job. Kudos to the Writers. I wonder how can someone write this level of humour. This Cinema is an ART !

This film brings new understanding to the name Moosa. Not understood in his home town, Moosa finds himself looking for something he can not have. And finding the only thing he can- more Moosa.

While traveling through an empty desert CID Moosa learns the real meaning of life and love, as he encounters all sorts of colorful characters along his journey of inner peace. Once settled and without anger Moosa begins to understand that sometimes a cry for help is not a sign of weakness, and the only true friends can be found in a Moosa.
