How Rare a Possession: The Book of Mormon

Despite as many fantastic videos church produced this is one that touches my heart again and again. To find a priest committed to truth and light, despite the opposition of colleagues, is testimony that the Holy Ghost will be our guide and not lead us astray. Time and again My testimony is strengthened with this story. To see his commitment reminds me that Joseph Smith, could not, would not recant what he knew as truth despite the perils and incarceration he continually faced.

I saw this movie about a week before I joined the church, and it has stuck with me as perhaps the best movie for someone looking into the church to see. It tells the true story of a man who, without even knowing the church that the Book of Mormon is from, left his own church because he knew that it was false. It is moving in a way that I can't put into words. True, the movie doesn't have the highest budget, but the acting is head-on and the message delivers a bulls-eye into your soul. It will reach into you and, like the Book of Mormon itself, will testify to you the truth. If you watch this movie and follow the promptings of the Spirit, you will know that the Book of Mormon is truly another testament of Jesus Christ, bearing testimony that He is the Savior and inviting you to accept the gospel.

church movie that I had out in the mission. I just really enjoy the story, and there is even a little humor. Much better done than most of the videos you can get at the Distribution Center. Not nearly as boring or cheezy.
