Showing up the efficiency of a professional studio is not something done every day, but Robert Rodriguez pulls it off *and* makes it look effortless to do so in this short. Clearly(as is his usual and preferred method of working) cutting the whole thing in his mind as he goes along(look and listen when he first enters the house and see if you agree with me), he shows us his own home studio, which is his garage, and which holds all of his sound mixing setups, an area reserved for special effects work and an editing computer. He takes us through the sound programs and equipment in a manner that is very informational yet not boring for a second... he even goes on to show in great detail how he did the music. This is interesting throughout, and there is not a dull moment to be found. Rodriguez' drive and energy keeps any project that he has done all the work on himself(look at The Faculty for an example of something... less than all the way Rodriguez) fast-paced and interesting to watch, including these extras. I recommend this to anyone interested in finding out how Robert's post-production work is done, and any hopefuls(with the money to afford such) who wish to own their own production facilities, just like he. 7/10
'Inside Troublemaker Studios' is one of the three nice extras with the movie 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico'. In my opinion every single extra is more interesting than the movie itself, although I must admit that the movie becomes a little more interesting as well.
With this special we go into the garage of director Robert Rodriguez who basically made 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico' all by himself. He directed, produced, wrote, shot, chopped, and scored (as he puts it) the movie and he did a lot of the post-production in the garage we see. His enthusiastic way of explaining everything to us make this very interesting, and it makes sure you must admit Rodriguez has done a fabulous job making the movie.

Robert Rodriguez is amazing. He's so talented and quick. He thinks really fast and acts on his ideas which just pour out of the man! The movie with Johnny Depp, Selma Hayek and Antonio Banderez rocked. It was really good constructively. Everything fell together so well. This is really more of a review for Robert though. He's really hot to and the man cooks (check out the extras at the end of the movie) his drive is totally admirable. He owns all of his equipment for editing, composing and producing all of the movie in his gorgeous home. I am totally smitten. Robert can I come stay at your house! A real Genius!Watch all the other extras... We are still waiting for the other ten minute School course that you promised us by the way ;-)
