This is a short film included with the DVD release of "Four of the Apocalypse". It stars a couple of the stars from the film--Fabio Testi and Tomas Milian. Lynne Frederick, who was also in the original film, could not appear in this short as she'd died a few years previously. Both actors discuss the making of the original film as well as their insights about the other actors as well as the director, Lucio Fulci--who according to both men was talented but odd. Overall, not a brilliant or absolutely necessary film to watch. But, if you see "Four of the Apocalypse", it's worth a look. It's also a chance to see Testi and marvel at how youthful he still looks over 25 years later.

Oddly, according to IMDb, Fabio Testi is fluent in English and yet he speaks Italian (with subtitles) in the film--and Tomas Milian speaks English. Odd.

Fun for Fulci Fans

Fulci of the Apocalypse (2001)

This is a fun seventeen minute featurette that can be found on the Anchor Bay release of Lucio Fulci's FOUR OF THE APOCALYPSE. Actors Fabio Testi and Tomas Milian are interviewed about working with the notorious director as well as their co-stars. The two men start off talking about each other and here is when we get a few funny stories including Milian being possessed by the spirit of James Dean. From here we hear a few stories about Fulci including his hatred of actors and Testi tells a nice story about their first day of filming. Milian also talks about why he felt sorry for the director. For the most part this is an entertaining featurette that is certainly going to make fans of Fulci happy. Both interviews are quite nice and this is very much worth watching.
