Riya Saran
- Rhea Saran: I fell in love with the old Dev... But he's lost now.
- Dev Saran: And if he's lost... It's you who lost him.
- Rishi Talwar: [holding a wedding bouquet] The girl who gets these flowers gets a new life, new happiness... and I hope that girl is you, Maya.
- [Maya gets teary-eyed]
- Rishi Talwar: For years, your heart has been searching for its destination... and that destination is Dev.
- Rhea Saran: [to Maya] If you don't leave now... your destination will only move further away.
- [Maya looks at her, stunned]
- Rhea Saran: Dev's going to Toronto. His train leaves in fifteen minutes.
- [Maya becomes alert, breath catching]
- Rishi Talwar: [offering Maya the bouquet] Go, Maya. Go get your love-before it's too late. Go.
- Maya Talwar: [Breaks down and hugs Rishi] Thank you...
- [tearfully and softly]
- Maya Talwar: [Rishi nods and smiles]
- [Maya turns to Rhea-silent, unable to speak. Rhea nods and smiles gently]
- Maya Talwar: [Maya smiles back, through her tears]
- Rhea Saran: [calling out] Maya.
- [Maya stops, turns around slowly, unable to meet her eyes]
- Rhea Saran: What is it, Maya? Can't look me in the eye? Can't talk to me? Thinking you broke my heart... my home?
- [Maya shakes her head slightly-regretful]
- Rhea Saran: What would you even break, Maya? It was already broken. Yes, maybe you shouldn't have come between Dev and me... But what could you do? Dev's love is... something else. Ask me-I know.
- Maya Talwar: [looks down, ashamed] Don't be so generous, Rhea... That I feel even smaller.
- Rhea Saran: [firmly] I'm not that big-hearted. When Dev told me about you, I left him.
- [nods faintly]
- Rhea Saran: But maybe you didn't know that.
- [Maya looks up, shocked, a tear slips down her cheek]
- Rhea Saran: [after a pause] Strange, isn't it? One love changed the fate of two homes. And today, that same love stands... unlucky. I moved on. Rishi moved on. The only ones left behind... are the two of you.
- Maya Talwar: [quietly, accepting] Maybe this is our punishment.
- Rhea Saran: [with a bittersweet smile] Such a small punishment? Try living with Dev- Then you'll know what real punishment feels like.
