Quirky, lighthearted fun for the kids
My son is almost two and can't get enough Peppa Pig. I've seen all of the episodes available in the US more times than I can count, which is a level of patience-testing you can only understand by having children. Fortunately, Peppa is not obnoxious, has simple animation, and subtle humor that even adults can enjoy. I much prefer shows like Peppa Pig and Bluey over the loud, annoying, and mind numbing alternatives.
Peppa Pig has simple storylines, funny interplay between the characters, and even subtle social commentary at times. My son is a big talker who enjoys books and preschool, however I also have to give credit to Peppa Pig for helping him expand his vocabulary. Some of the reviewers here take the show too literally and fail to understand that Peppa herself is a character with flaws. Most of the storylines involve her learning some sort of lesson which usually has to do with the common themes of sharing, friendship, and honesty. Don't take it too seriously and be a good role model for your kids so you don't have to rely on cartoon characters. Peppa Pig is good clean fun and can be enjoyable for all ages.

Great For Toddlers
I feel this show is a great show for children and really like their accents. They do make Daddy Pig seem a little dumb, but I think it is to make it more funny and interactive with his kids. Peppa is a little bossy over her little brother, George, which is not a great example. She seems to force things on him in order to get her way. The skits in each episode are short and easy for toddlers to follow, it doesn't seem to be too over stimulating like a lot of other shows have been for young ones. Overall a pretty great show for toddlers. We had fun watching the different episodes we saw, and I would rate this show a solid 8.
Love my cheeky peppa
I enjoy watching this with my daughter and we get some good laughs. Some of our favorite scenes are the interactions between Peppa and Suzy. Not all tv needs to be educational and this is still a million times better than Easter egg videos on YouTube and the like. It sparks conversation, humor and so bonding. It's a win from me.
People complaining about the fat jokes are forgetting this is a family of PIGS. They're supposed to be fat and piggy, that's the point.

Why better than Scaredy Squirrel or Yakkity Yak in my opinon
I think for a preschool show, people are judging it a bit harsh. Plus, George's crying is much better to listen to than Baby Taz's.
delightful
For many reasons I saw it as a sort of strawberry icecream. Refreshing, tasty, very simple. A beautiful, comfortable animation, giving much than you expect, proposing nic lessons and charming, in deep simplicity, characters. Short, delightful.
