Mad Rhino!

Joanna Moore played as a love interest for Chuck Connors in this episode. Fans of Chuck Connors and The Rifleman will remember her from a season 2 episode where she played an unhappy wife to a newspaper reporter and flirted hopelessly with Lucas McCain. Fans of Andy Griffith will remember her as a love interest for Andy Taylor and that song she sang with Andy on his front porch! The focus of this episode was helping a rhino who had a snare wrapped around his mouth. He was in pain and very angry, doing a lot of harm to villagers and himself. We watch as Commander Hayes' crew performs an unselfish and heroic duty of trapping the rhino and freeing him from the snare. Kids and adults alike will love this one as it is full of adventure. A bit unbelievable - but exciting.
