    What a woman!

Lynda Day George guest starred in this episode as a high-strong, know- it-all, bossy photo journalist reporter who came to Africa because that's where the action is. Not only does she hack Jim Sinclair off before even landing the plane, but she doesn't obey John Henry or their African helper (can't remember his name at the moment) when they give her certain orders. In fact, John Henry has to force her back into the jeep.

Time after time, her cockiness and disobedience causes trouble, but she never learns. Until the very end of the episode, Liz is convinced that she knows better, and everyone is just against her and trying to show her up! Almost attacked by lions, an elephant stampede, causing a baby elephant to be separated from it's mother, and scaring a baby elephant are only a few of the things she does wrong. One final mistake because she thinks she knows more - and it can mean the death of two people!

This is one of my favorite episode. Chuck Connors does such a great job arguing with the opposite sex. I'm sure he had lots of practice :-)
