First of six season 8 appearances for Stephen Elliott as attorney Scotty Demarest. Longtime fans will remember Scotty as the attorney who defended Jock way back in the third season's Jock's Trial: Part 2 (1980).

The script was written before the casting, resulting in Latino actor Valentin de Vargas having the impossibly Anglo name of Patrick Wolfe.
