    Empty plane mystery

The opening sounds familiar for those who are also familiar with the series. Instead of a subway carriage, a car, a passenger plane, it's this time a Boeing that arrives at London airport totally empty.... I have seen it before, as I said. A very unlikely but funny, amusing plot, very inventive, with the usual and elegant British elements to make this unlikely story entertaining. Nothing special but a good episode, very typical of this series, action mystery tv show. I did not know the director, or maybe a tv director who made nothing special for the big screen industry, unlike John Gilling and Cyril Frankel,, the other "faithful" directors of this series.

    • Trivia
Amongst his novels seen at Jason's home are "Identity, Mark Caine!", "Index Finger Left Hand" and (what appears to be) "Enough is Enough"; later a plane passenger reads "From China Yours Sincerely".
    • Goofs
Before the the villains leave he cockpit, one remarks to the other that "the gas should have cleared by now." That's true, but: They never turned the gas off, and they have no way of knowing that Stewart did, since they were in the cockpit the entire time.
    • Quotes

Annabelle Hurst: You don't really think Jason is right, do you?

Stewart Sullivan: No, but he has a nasty habit of scoring near misses.

Annabelle Hurst: He has a nasty habit of making wild generalizations that cover just about anything!
