Being produced in Hollywood, the Los Angeles Rams were a natural fit for an appearance. However, the show is set in midwestern Hilldale, driving distance from Chicago. It is not explained why Jeff is such a big fan of the Rams and why (or who) they are playing at University Stadium "30 miles" from Hilldale. Pitching ace Don Drysdale of the Los Angeles Dodgers would also make future appearances on the show.
