A brilliant affectionate parody of Hammer films

There are so many adroit directorial and design touches in this affectionate tribute to Hammer films, but also other references which fans of the golden ages of film and TV will enjoy... from the very Roald Dahl-esque "Tales of the Unexpected" introduction and outro monologue to the audience, to the respect given to Honor Blackman's groundbreaking Avenger, Cathy Gale (from the action-lady leather to the fashionable hat!). It also looks and sounds beautiful. What's not to love?
