    Megan's pranks

I agree that the show is funny--although some of the jokes are obvious and thus stale--but I feel it is way past time that Megan got her comeuppance. Were she my little sister, I'd have hatched a plot to beat her senseless and then make it look as if she fell. Her behavior is an absolute outrage. Frankly, I don't know what's worse: a child that evil, or parents who are so oblivious to their own children's behavioral tendencies that they actually think that Megan is sweet and the boys are inveterate ne'er-do-wells. I think the episode where Drake masqueraded as a noted young surgeon and came within inches of actually operating on a patient was extremely funny. Much as was the case with the Honeymooners, one can readily trace the foundation of various "Drake and Josh" plots back to the Flintstones of the early 1960s.

There is such a thing of being too dumb

I'm not going to get angry at Miranda Cosgrove. She is a kid actor, she's just doing it for the experience. But man! Is the character of Megan annoying as sin.

The problem with Drake & Josh as characters is that they really are too dumb to be funny. It's not like The Three Stooges, or Laurel and Hardy, or even Abbott and Costello, because at least when they played dumb people, their was this level of wit and charm, and not to mention the comedy worked because the world around them wasn't the focus, so they were left to their own devices and were aloud to do funny things and not have to worry about something dumb or annoying get in the way of their comedy routine. Drake & Josh are just too stupid to be likeable, because the world they live in is already shallow and unbelievable that I can't find anything to connect with here.

Plus precocious kid characters are never fun to watch.

Interesting episode about entering a contest but an episode you shouldn't watch if you're a little sibling under the age of 10.

I think this is very interesting about entering a contest. Drake and Josh were going to enter a salsa contest to win a flat screen TV. When Megan came in and asked to help, Drake and Josh said "No" because Megan was going to do something bad. After that, she told them she has things to do. But when Drake and Josh knew Megan got things to do, they figured out that she's going into their room! When Drake and Josh got away, Megan put explosive devices into the salsa! When they got back to the salsa and they turned on the stove, it blew up! When Drake and Josh's parents came to the scene, they saw the mess. Drake and Josh told their parents and figured out it was Megan and their parents assume she had nothing to do with it and think she was being a sweet little 11-year old girl. Drake and Josh went into Megan's room and search for clues while Megan is out, but when they did search, there were monitors on the wall so she can see what Drake and Josh are up to. Drake and Josh showed their parents the monitors on the wall in Megan's room, but it disappeared! That's when Megan got Drake and Josh into trouble and told a big fat lie. I'm very sick of Megan playing pranks on Drake and Josh, getting them into trouble, telling big fat lies, especially in the one episode "Sheep Thrills". If you tell a lie, your nose will get big just like Pinochio. And don't let little siblings under 10 watch it because it will give them stupid examples by teaching them to tease their older brothers and tell-tale on them. Everything that Megan does is crap. In order for Drake and Josh to make excellent salsa, they had to borrow their little sister's special peppers. After Megan found out her special peppers are gone, she found out it was Drake and Josh and woke them up and started harassing them! Megan is one of the most evil, devilish, and sinister character on Drake and Josh. When drake and Josh went to the contest and almost won, they found out the special pepper called "Peruvian Puff Pepper" is illegal in the U.S. cause it causes some kind of sickness. So Megan won the contest and got a flat screen TV and after she got it, she watched it and enjoyed it.

    • Trivia
This is one of the most hated episodes of the series due to how maliciously Megan treats Drake and Josh throughout. Once again, she wins at the end of the episode while the duo gets no happy ending whatsoever. People also blame Walter and Audrey for believing Megan's stories over the duo's, despite the fact that there's absolutely no proof they were responsible for the kitchen explosion mess.

Josh Nichols: [talking about the Peruvian puff pepper] Okay, so how do we buy some?

Drake Parker: Can't. Says here they're only available in South Ah-mer-ee-ca.

      [Josh looks at Drake, annoyed]

      Drake Parker: What?

      Josh Nichols: South AMERICA!

Drake Parker: [looks at his laptop] Oh.
