- Sammy Jo Dean Carrington: [entering] Sorry I'm late.
- Sable Colby: Oh, and you are the very pretty Sammy Jo.
- Sammy Jo Dean Carrington: Thank you.

- Sable Colby: [jokingly] Tell me, what do you do with all those men you must attract?
- Sammy Jo Dean Carrington: Usually, lose them.
- Sable Colby: [chuckles] Don't we all?
- Krystle Carrington: I have the feeling you don't care much for Virginia. Why?
- Sammy Jo Dean Carrington: [scoffs] Probably for the same reason I don't like rattlesnakes. Their rattles sound cute and then they stick their fangs into you.
- Maitre'D: I'll have your table in a moment, Mrs. Carrington.
- Krystle Carrington: Thank you. That's not fair, Sammy Jo. I've known Virginia since she was a little girl.
- Sammy Jo Dean Carrington: No, you knew her when she was a little girl. And an awful lot can happen when a little girl starts growing up.
- Krystle Carrington: [sighs] But you haven't spent much time around her. You really ought to give her a chance.
- Sammy Jo Dean Carrington: Well, maybe. Look, can we talk about something else?
- Krystle Carrington: Okay. We could talk about the wedding. And about you being my maid of honor.

- Jeff Colby: The doctor just called. He wants them to fly directly to the clinic in Switzerland. The operation is scheduled for the day after tomorrow.
