    Some Good/Some Tiresome

First of all, the tiresome. The whole business of Carter and Harper unable to keep their hands off each other is so much junk. They are working in a place where life and death is a daily occurrence. My god. Are they feral animals with no control over themselves. I have no trouble with their romance but for heaven's sake.

The business with Carol and the schizophrenic architect is really well done. It's sad when the options are so few. Even today, 2025, there are no beds, no resources, and the population keeps growing.

The business with Mark and his wife was inevitable. That handwriting was on the wall long ago. Absence doesn't alway make the heart grow fonder.

Chloe sends little Susie a bunch of money and I don't think this bodes well for the future.

    • Trivia
First of two appearances Piper Laurie made in the series, playing Doug's mother, Sarah Ross.
    • Goofs
Carter has a hickey on the right side of his neck in several scenes. At 20:55, he has a bandage on the left side and the right side is unmarked.

Incorrect. Carter is seen in a mirror prior to application of bandage so image is reversed. Hickey is on the left.
