Really?

While I have to admit that this was an exciting episode it was based on some pretty shady premises. I know people get hepped up when they are not given freedom. But while not saying the word "smallpox" but saying they were treating an seriously infectious disease, why would the entire non-medical population go off like that. Especially, trying to take a gurney and blast through the doors. The fact that there are hoards of police outside should tell them that the doctors and nurses have no say in anything. Unfortunately, to avoid potential infection, the police could not come in the building, or heads would have rolled.

Each of those people was an individual. This is not "Lord of the Flies." They were stuck in there for a few hours.
