    The Stunt Must Impress

"ER" is known for some heavy episodes – even some impressive stunt work for big accidents, but "The Show Must Go On" was probably the episode with the most ambitious and dangerous stunt of the series.

The main danger came simply from having a large number of stunt people in a small space, all on wires – the risk to them is getting the wires tangled. It speaks to how much planning had to go into the stunt.

Also impressive was guest star Wilkinson, who actually performed her own stunt (you can check out the behind the scenes footage of her performing the stunt on her myspace page).

Brilliantly shot by John Wells, this was one of the best stunts I've seen on television.

    • Trivia
Many years after he left ER as a regular, Noah Wyle admitted he had not enjoyed the final few seasons he'd done the show full-time. He also said that he'd treated newcomers to the series such as Kellie Martin, Erik Palladino, and especially Goran Visjnic badly, and apologized to them in interviews. He also admitted he hated Visjnic because it was clear the Croatian was a much better actor than Wyle himself was.
    • Quotes

Dr. Luka Kovac: Anyway, uh, there's something my father would say when a friend went on a journey. And, uh... he said it to me when I came to the United States first. So I thought of it today when I realized I wouldn't be working with this guy anymore, not for a long time, at least. My father would, uh, clasp the person's hand and say, uh, "We only part to meet again."
