In the World o' Stuff, Eerie-ites are discussing the upcoming Harvest King festival which occurs every 13 years and coincides with sightings of the Eerie Wolf. The father and mother of the last Harvest King winner (1979) are seen sitting in a booth, and are dressed exactly like the couple in Grant Wood's iconic 1930 painting "American Gothic", complete with pitchfork.
