Kevin Tighe and Randolph Mantooth in Loose Ends (1977)

Goofs

Loose Ends

Emergency!

Edit

Continuity

When Dr. Brackett is first seen in his hospital room at night his bandage is on the left side of his face. The next day, when speaking with Dixie, it has moved to his right forehead.
When Captain Stanley is at the train yard fire, he calls for additional backup. The next shot shows an engine leave a different station. This engine had no roof over the cab. When the engine arrives on seen, it is a different engine, one that has a roof over the cab.

Factual errors

When Johnny uses the squad's radio to report the police officer suffering a heart attack, he holds the mic backwards, talking into the back of the mic. He also lets go of the transmit button while he is still talking.
When Gage finds out the ambulance is going to take 35 minutes to get there for the heart attack victim someone suggests they take him in a private vehicle. Gage agrees to do so.This would not happen with a patient who is that critical.

Miscellaneous

Two victims are removed from a boxcar that has two open doors. They are extricated from the side of the car facing the trailer fire and 2nd boxcar full of ammonia, rather than the other side that is clear of dangers.

Crew or equipment visible

When the unattached box car is rolling down the tracks before the collision with the truck trailer, the fire department battalion chief's car and the deluge truck (the flat bed truck with the big nozzle on the back) can be seen parked on the side of the road in the background.
