    ...this episode's most hilarious moment occurs at the very end when Roy and John wait to get into John's beat up Land Rover at the lavish mansion's gate...

    ...true to his tightwad character, John instruct Roy to give the valet parkers a whole QUARTER (!!!) as a tip...

    ...even given inflation, this would be a measly buck nowadays...valets would keep their hand out..."...surely you mean to give me at least a fiver?!?..."

      At the bash, the band is playing Elton John's "The Bitch Is Back". The song was released only 2 months earlier. This instrumental version was used in a number of Universal productions, including several episodes on McCloud. The song was published on the MCA record label which was part of the Universal corporate family.

      Roy and John are in the lavatory when the alarm for the bomb threat comes in. The camera cuts to the apparatus floor and we see Roy and John, along with the rest of the crew, exit the kitchen and board the apparatus.
