    Best dialog of the series.

The verbal banter between victim Fred Gibson and the fireman in this episode are the best lines ever written in the series. In my 30 years of public service, I have found the dialog to be so factual as to sound unscripted. It's also halarious!

    • Trivia
In an obvious inside joke, Fireman John Gage asks Registered Nurse, Dixie McCall if she knows anything about singing to which she gestures and replies, "A little." In fact, Julie London, the actress who played the part of Dixie, was one of the most popular female vocalists in the United States in the 1950s and early 1960s.
    • Goofs
When the female overdose victim goes into cardiac arrest, the medical team removes the upper part of her gown in order to use the defibrillator. A nurse stands in the way of the now-bare chest area for the first part of the shot in order to hide it from the camera, but later in the scene, the nurse momentarily moves to the right of her position, exposing the woman's bare chest. There is nothing covering the woman's chest, and bare breasts are fully visible for about ten seconds.

This is something the director, editors, and network "Standards and Practices" personnel missed in 1974, and the scene went out to air in this way. The scene remains intact on the DVD.
