I don't need women to fix me.

I can understand that Robert has relationship issues with women. But I don't think it was a good idea for Marie to get Amy and Stefania involved. Marie and the two women should've minded their own business and let Robert deal with his issues himself.

    Ripe for a reversal

As a man, I've often wondered how women would respond if they were portrayed the way men are portrayed on the tele. I've often played a little 'role-reversal' game in my head to try and imagine what a scene would be like if the shoe was on the other foot. Not than I'm obsessed, mind you! It's just a diverting thought, what with all this 'palestalemale' and 'toxicmasculinity' being banded around. If ever there was an episode ripe for a sex-swap, it's this one. Wow! Four men telling an uncomfortable female how to be 'a better mate' by mocking and belittling personal details about her. All under the watchful eye of her father, who wants her to produce grandchildren for him. Wow. Can you imagine!? Cancel cancel cancel cancel. Marching in the streets. Knitted hats. Screaming. I honestly think someone should do it - take this episode and reverse the sexes. I might do it, myself. It'll be fun!

Robert in the hen house from hell

Ha ha, it's so hilarious when a bunch of hens get together in a hen house and start clucking from the top of their lungs in an attempt to show a man what is wrong with him. Because, they not only know, but they are all perfect and have their lives in order, so the only thing left for them is to fix other people. And so we get the obnoxious, meddling, spiteful creature who can be called mother on a technicality, just because she has living offspring; an animated corpse with a double chin; an airhead bimbo; and a donut devourer having a rant that is utterly impossible to watch. Just imagine, if the roles were reversed and a woman had to endure what Robert did, there would be shrieking from green, blue and purple haired creatures like you can't imagine.

Ray's part at the end offers the viewer a little respite, but this is a terrible episode.

    • Trivia
Marie's canister can be seen in Ray and Debra's kitchen. Two episodes prior, in "The Canister", she and Debra argued over where the canister was, and once it was found at Ray and Debra's they went to great lengths to smuggle it back into Marie's home without her knowing it. At the end of the episode Marie gave Debra the canister and it spent the rest of the run of the series in the background of Ray and Debra's kitchen.
