Meeting the parents of your loved one like your girlfriend or boyfriend is sometimes not easy. And why is that? Because sometimes the parents may or may not approve of you. Like yesterday my friend went to see the parents of his girlfriend for the first time and I'm really hoping and praying her parents will approve of him and accept him. And I know what it's like meeting the parents or guardians of a girlfriend because I went through it myself and it's nothing new to me. I remember one time I had a girlfriend who lived in a group home and when it came to meeting her staff for the first time, they weren't open minded at all at first but I won them over by showing them my credentials like my Knights of Columbus membership cards and they took the time to get to know me and eventually they made me feel welcome and they accepted me and they said that I was very legitimate for her.
