    "She ate a fly!"

In all my many many years of watching TV/sitcoms, this episode ranks as the most MOST memorable. I was shocked and transfixed by the girl, seeming/looking quite realistic, eating a fly. I know it is just a show, ie., poetic license, but........I was still in awe, really REALLY, at the image. The show's creators really, again, outdid themselves with this episode, I have seen it now a bunch of times and it still STILL has the same 'shock' value. The actress, wow, she did such a good job with this more than iconic role/sript, she actually, I think should get an appropriate award, her performance was spot-on.

What's the longest comedy stare ever?

This episode is outrageously hilarious! One of the funniest of any sit coms in my opinion. I don't know, but I think Ray Romano may have the record for the longest stunned stare of shock filled with laughter. Brad Garret turns in a LOL/ LMAO funny performance. The whole gang hitting their stride. A must see!

    As good as advertised

Never watched this show when it originally aired. If I recall, it aired on Friday nights and I was always out and about as a 20 something. It is a fantastic show, really good to go to sleep for a laugh. It's not on the tier of Seinfeld, cheers or Frasier, but it's right there as a top sitcom of all time.

On to this episode , as I read the comments, I think everyone nailed it. This is the culmination of a great show perfecting every aspect, and agree it's the best episode I've seen of this show. The premise is insane, the comedic acting is superb, and the writing is tight.

    Goof

While Ray is holding the coffee tray the contents of the tray switch up. When he first picks it up the sugar container is on one side. Shortly after the sugar container is in the middle of the tray.

    Edit
    • Trivia
The episode is based on a real-life incident that happened to Ray Romano's brother. He fled out the window of a woman he met at a bar when he saw she had a bizarre obsession with snakes and the occult.
    • Goofs
When Ray is holding the tray with cups of coffee, it is obvious there's nothing in them, especially when he sets the tray down, and it creates a visibly loud hollow sound. This was because Ray Romano was scripted to stand in shocked awe for 3 solid minutes, and it would've been far too difficult with full cups of coffee.

Ray Barone: She's not the one.

      Robert Barone: What?

Ray Barone: Listen, listen. I Saw something that I have to tell you, because you have to know, because I saw it.

Robert Barone: What are you talking about?

Debra Barone: What did you see, Ray?

Ray Barone: Angela ate the fly!

      Debra Barone: What?

Robert Barone: What do you mean?

Ray Barone: The fly, that was flying around... Angela killed it, it fell on the table, she put it in the napkin and the she ate it!

Debra Barone: What the hell are you doing, Ray?

Robert Barone: Yeah man, what is your problem?

Ray Barone: I'm telling you, I saw that woman eat a fly.

Debra Barone: Oh, she did not! You must've seen something else.

Ray Barone: What? What did I see?

Debra Barone: I don't know, maybe it was a crouton or something.

      Ray Barone: A flying crouton?
