    What a cast!

I love to watch old TV shows from the 1960s-70s and I especially love the character actors you see again and again. In "The Two Million Dollar Hit", you get more villainous guest stars than usual...a virtual who's who of evil! You have Henry Silva (who ALWAYS plays evil characters), Burr DeBenning (who always plays evil...sometimes very weasely evil guys), Walter Burke and Khigh Dhiegh ('Wo Fat' from "Hawaii Five-O"). You also have Norman Alden who often (but not always) plays evil folks...though in this one he's just an innocent guy who stands in the gang's way.

The story begins with a transport plane leaving an airport. Surprisingly, minutes later the sole passenger (Alden) is told he's leaving! And, so two of the guys strap a parachute on the guy and toss him out...and they thought it was pretty funny. Why?? Well, it turns out this is NOT the actual crew and the three have just stolen the plane and its contents...in this case, traveler's checks. However, things don't continue to go smoothly for the gang...see how.

This is interesting because so often the baddies in this episode are fighting each other MORE than they're fighting the law! Overall a very good episode but also one hindered like so many in the later episodes...there's lots of shooting but folks don't die...which seems VERY unrealistic.
