The Phantom of the Thames valley.

Reggie revels in the freedoms that come with his new life, only he is missing Elizabeth and some of the old associations, Reggie takes a trip down memory lane, to his old house and Sunshine Desserts, posing as an Italian, a Welshman, A Scotsman and more.

Superb, utterly superb, it's a great penultimate episode from this wonderful first series, it's so funny, so clever, and best of all it showcases the incredible talents of Leonard Rossiter.

Rossiter really does deliver a tour de force here, every single one of Rossiter's characters are on point, I especially loved that Italian. What a fabulous actor Rossiter was, just brilliant.

You can understand why Reggie did what he did, being as stressed as hell in my job, I understand the appeal, I get it, I love the idea of just jumping on a train to somewhere new.

Hilary Mason and Charmian May are both an absolute scream.

    10/10.
