Jody Learns About Fighting

Tom, a loudmouth classmate of Jody's says his father can beat up Jody's Uncle Bill.

One of the best of Season 5. Tom is played by Ronny Howard's brother Clint. Bill refuses to fight Tom's father, which makes both Tom and his father think Bill and Jody are chicken. Some good scenes have Mr French teaching Jody the Marquis of Queensbury rules and Emily showing him street fighting. Tom turns out not to really want to fight, in a good ending.
