    A Trip To Hollywood

Cissy is talking of marriage to Gregg again, Bill then takes the whole family on a trip to Hollywood to get her mind off of it.

An amusing episode. Cissy also meets a movie star Steve Hunter (Aron Kincaid), who is obviously modeled on Steve McQueen. She ends up falling in love with him. Gregg comes out to visit and is such a big fan of Hunter that he doesn't mind losing Cissy to him. Funniest scene is when Steve gives a prop bottle for Buffy to smash over Jody's head. Mr French has a hilarious shocked reaction when he sees that.

    • Trivia
The western set seen in the show was the same set used for Gunsmoke which was also in production at the time at CBS Studio Center. The two 'On Draught' signs can be seen on both sides outside the saloon, though they have replaced the 'Long Branch' sign used for Gunsmoke with another.
