    Enough with Carol Lynley already!

Most times I watch this show, Carol Lynley seems to be a guest star, and while I have nothing against her personally, I find her quite dull at times, and I wonder if she has pictures on the director or producer that she's using as leverage. Perhaps that was a bit harsh, but I wonder why that felt the need to put her on 11 different times! There are many familiar faces including Max Baer Jr., Lynley, Stepfanie Kramer, Michael Callan, Toni Tennille, Dick Sargent, and Frank Aletter. The better segment has a private eye(Tennille)looking to crack her first case revolving around a murder and the victim's will; what I liked was the creepy house with many shots at night, and the interaction between the quirky characters. I also liked the slick underground jail cell under the mansion, which was an unexpected surprise. The downer here was the lack of chemistry between Tennille and Callan, as I didn't think they should leave the island together; the kiss they share together was painful to watch. The other segment has Lynley as an aging ballet dancer who once caught Big Jake's(Baer Jr.)eye years ago before she disappeared, although I wish she stayed away. It's not even worth going into this average story, as it was much weaker than the other one.
