Boom mic visible

At 13:13 in the dining room there is a boom mic at the top of the screen.

Character error

Peas are not an ingredient in Spanish Omelette.
Towards the end, when Basil believes Mr Walt is a hotel inspector, he begs him not to mention anything he has seen in any guides or reports saying "Don't put this in the book, we're finished if you don't, please don't". He clearly meant to say "Don't put this in the book, we're finished if you do, please don't"
Basil asks Mr. Walt if the casserole was good to which he replies, "It was advequate".
Sybil informs Basil that his 'hotel inspector' is really a spoon salesman.

However, Basil never really tells Sybil that he suspects Mr. Hutchinson to be an inspector, he merely mouths a few words at her whilst pointing and tells her he will "explain later."
