Flash Gordon and the Brain Machine

In part 2 of this three-part adventure, Flash and Dale head for Zydereen's lair to try to prove Zarkov's and Richards' innocence in the attempt to destroy Neptune. Meanwhile the cunning "Mad Witch of Neptune" first uses her matter-transmitter to kidnap Zarkov and Richards and then her brain machine to steal all of their knowledge of Earth's secret technology and defenses before vanishing. Not a lot happens in this bridging episode, but fortunately the preceding and succeeding episodes survive ('The Witch of Neptune' and 'Struggle to the End'), so the whole low-budget epic can be watched by dedicated genre fans. Marie Powers makes for an entertainingly menacing and verbose villainess.
