    The Game Show

Fred gets a ticket to go on the game show The Prize Is Priced.

Another very funny Season 2 episode. Fred gets stage fright so Barney goes on the show. It is a hilarious parody of The Price Is Right. Barney loses one prize because he goes over by 1 cent. But ends up winning a house boat. The two couples decide to share it. Funny scene as the boat gets pulled around by a sea monster.

    Edit
    • Trivia
The game show Barney goes on, "The Prize is Priced", is a parody of the TV game show The Price Is Right (1956), hosted by Bill Cullen.
    • Goofs
Barney goes on in Fred's place as a contestant, because Fred had "chickened out". However, Fred's voice can clearly be heard among the highly enthusiastic audience.
    • Quotes

Wilma Flintstone: I see it, but I don't believe it.

Betty Rubble: It's true. We hit another houseboat.

      [a policeman arrives]

      Police Officer: Okay, what happened?

Fred Flintstone: That landlubber tried to make a starboard turn without sticking his hand out.

Driver: Don't call me a landlubber, you landlubber. I've been a sailor for over three weeks.

    • Crazy credits
The announcer introduces "The Prize Is Priced" by saying it's from Gypsum and Caveman. These are the Stone Age counterparts of Goodson and Todman, producers of both the original and (until their deaths) modern "Price Is Right."
