    Frasier

I love the show, I watch the reruns often and enjoy them. There's alot to nit pick about the show tho. Fraiser has impossible standards, thru out the show we see him get loads of beautiful woman and he always leaves them (usually after he's slept with them) so for that his lovable hopeless romantic charm has gone.. By the end of the show he's been thru more woman than I've had hot dinners! All having to come to his place aswell as he never picks them up or takes them home like a gentleman would.. He also must have had incredible wealth. When out of work he was able to loan out money, buy expensive things and never make any financial sacrifices. Yet niles ended up homeless after his divorce and roz couldn't make ends meet when she was out of work.. Even bulldog who for the most part of the show was the top rated sports guy in town, ended up delivering pizzas to make ends meet.. Now back to this episode. In this one frasier again gets everything he could ask for and isn't happy.. An tho it's a good episode and like always, gives us some laughs, it is abit same old same. Daphne had to play the getting fat role as she was pregnant in real life and this really did ruin the momentum of the show as we only get to see niles and daphne happy for a short time. I hope if Fraiser does come back for a new show, he's settled down, if they try repeat his behavior in a new show then it'll just be about a rich old man who chases young beautiful woman and is never happy, an that would be a shame as the show really was good. It just ran out of steam later on and instead of taking risks and progressing, the show got to comfortable and never explored its potential.

    My least favorite episode

Frasier (original) is hands down my favorite sitcom. I'm currently rewatching the entire series for the fourth time...but I ended up fast forwarding this episode. This one is so boring and not funny at all. Typically I'm literally laughing out loud watching this show but not at all in this episode. It's one of very few episodes I don't care for but this one is definitely the worst one. Others have mentioned Frasier being whiny and he generally is but that's one thing that's funny about his character but it is too much in this episode. Other episodes are far and away better than this one. Will continue to pass on it each time it's up in rotation again.

Some good scenes, but still rather mediocre

I like Rene Aujebuen-however you say his name.

And I like the back and forth he and Frasier have.

I tend to just binge watch Frasier episodes, so I don't really care what they are rated...but I am trying to get a rating for them all.

My 7's are easily rewatchable...and 6's are fine.

So...some good stuff here, but not nearly close to what Frasier is capable of. 6 is fine.

    Tiresome Whiney Crane

When Frasier receives a lifetime achievement award, he can't handle it. One consistent thing about the character of Frasier Crane is that he can't handle any sort of judgment without sticking his oar in. I guess as his confrontation with his former mentor melts down, he finally comes to realize that he has no idea what he wants out of life. He simply can't take anything at face value. There was a kind of sickness in this episode. We also have Daphne's continuous pigging out.

    • Trivia
The storyline and jokes about Daphne's weight gain were ploys to cover up Jane Leeves's real-life pregnancy with her daughter Isabella. This episode, however, is the first one in which Daphne's weight problem is acknowledged.
    • Goofs
Dr. Tewksbury is introduced as Frasier's mentor from Harvard. However, in Whodunit? (1985) Frasier introduces his mentor from Harvard to the bar as Dr. Bennet Ludlow.
    • Quotes

Dr. Frasier Crane: Thank you for honoring my life. Just wish I knew what to do with the rest of it.

    • Crazy credits
When the title "Frasier" and the usual silhouette of Seattle are on screen, an animated off-the-ground monorail train appears, moving from right to left in front of the "buildings".
