The park ranger they initially talk to is the paramedic that was in the ambulance with Will and Phil when Phil had his heart attack.

None of the occupants of the small plane are wearing aviation headsets. The aviation headsets are not only needed for communication with ATC but also they protect the ears from excessive engine noise, which, in the absence of proper protection, can easily cause permanent damage to the occupants' hearing within minutes.

During the end credits, Augustus Adams is still in the woods calling Will's name while the crew is putting all the props away. At one point, Will Smith comes to tell him the episode is already over.
