    The One with Unagi

Ross is pretty creepy here when you think about it, but actually the storyline is well played out.

The Monica/Chandler one grated on me a little, and the Joey centred one was fun but thin.

    A decent episode overall though.

There are some good classic Friends scenes from this episode

But it is not a good episode overall.

If you like the slapstick over the top absurd Friends, then you'll probably like it.

But if you're a fan of classic early, pre Monica and Chandler, this ain't it.

This for me was clearly not a 7...and I almost could see giving a generous 6.

    But no. Too annoying.

    5 for you.

If it happened to be on a rerun....eh.

    Either way. Watch or don't.

It isn't bad...but if you've already seen the few good scenes and remember em, no need to revisit the whole 20 minutes again.

    Not Great

Funny in parts; Ross wanting tips on how to attack his friends from a self defense teacher, and Joey thinking an actor who looks nothing like him would make a good identical twin for a twin study he wants to get paid for, and Chandler having to make a belated Valentines day present from scratch. A few annoying things; Chandler finding a mix tape all of a sudden in his and Monica's closet. How did she never see it? Why would Chandler even keep it in the first place? Another very contrived scene has Phoebe and Rachel sitting at the window of Central Perk, just to set up the scene where they see Ross attack two women he thinks is them outside. The bit where Rachel wants to tell the customers on the couch to move was so stupid.

One of the funniest episodes out there

I thought Friends was a bad sitcom for a lot of years, but I still decided to watch it, and I admit it, I was wrong. I mean, I still prefer HIMYM and Modern Family, but Friends is also great. That said, I think this episode was the funniest yet, all the plots were absolutely fantastic, but the best one was definitely Ross's one, I was cracking up with that one by the end of the episode!

    Unagi

My favourite episode. The only minus is Joey's stupid twin story.

Ross explains to Chandler that his Saturn V Rocket model is from the Apollo 8 mission and that Apollo 8 did not land on the moon but instead orbited the moon twice and returned safely to earth. In fact, Apollo 8 orbited the moon a total of ten times, not two.

Phoebe: Now, we can kick anybody's ass!

      Rachel: Yeah!

Ross: After one class? I don't think so.

Rachel: What? You want to see me self-defend myself? Go over there and pretend you're a sexual predator! Go on! I dare ya!

Ross: Well, of course you can defend yourself from an attack you know is coming, that's not enough. Look, I studied karate for a long time, and there's a concept you should really be familiar with. It's what the Japanese call unagi.

Rachel: Isn't that a kind of sushi?

      Ross: No, it's a concept.

Phoebe: Yeah, it is! It is! It's freshwater eel.

Ross: All right, maybe it means that too.

Rachel: Ooh! I would kill for a salmon skin roll right now.

Ross: Y'know what? Fine! Get attacked! I don't even care!
