The one with an empty vase

Monica dates Hulio briefly and Ross is still having hard time dealing with the whole Rachel and her coworker Mark situation. Funniest moment in this episode for me was Joey's dancing and teaching other to dance. Chandler didnt have much to do in this episode but still made me laugh with his new pen. Phoebe was there for Monica and Gunther still has a crush on Rachel. Overall, pretty good episode. Ending scene is also well done.

    Just annoying

This is the start of the whole annoying stretch of this show. The entire thread of Ross' jealousy was just so forced. I get it, they wanted friction for the relationship. But this is just so annoying because it's so out there and ridiculous based on the characters up to this point.

The only point where it gets worse is when they beat the dead horse of being on a break.

    ROSS GROSS

1 star because of Ross. His jealousy is annoying.

    Barbershop Quartet!

This episode made me laugh for real especially the barbershop quartet song and I wish if they mentioned the names of these musical band but they didn't.

Ross being jealous was really funny and reminded me of season 1 when he was trying to confess to Rachel.

The worst part is Julio scenes where it could be more funny scene but the ending scene was great!

    • Trivia
Carlos Gómez, who plays Julio in this episode, was in the film Fools Rush In (1997) with Matthew Perry from the same year.
    • Goofs
Joey sings "You've got to pick a Pocket or Two", which is from "Oliver", a different Charles Dickens story. When auditioning for a musical it is common practice to chose a song from a similar show, not necessarily one from the same show.

[Ross, Joey and Chandler talk about how Ross is pushing Rachel to Mark]

Chandler: She starts thinking, 'Maybe this is the guy for me because he understands me.'

Joey: And before you know it. she's with him and you'll be all, 'Oh man!' And he'll be all, 'Yes!' And us, we'll be like, 'Oh, dude!' And pretty soon you'll be like, 'Hi.' And, and, 'Well I can't go. Rachel and Mark might be there.' And we'll be like, 'Man get over it, it's been four years!'

Chandler: He paints quite a picture, doesn't he?
