If you happen to be Richard Kimble, it can simply be another lonely street where the laughter belongs to someone else.
- Narrator: [Epilog Closing Narration. Viewers see Richard Kimble in the box car of a moving Southern Pacific train] The carnival has moved on and so, too, has Richard Kimble. The carnival moves north, taking its ragbag of noise and excitement to another town, searching for the crowds that are its life.
