The moment on the stage, Lorelai and Emily as a mother - daughter duo, it is the highlight of this episode. It is so hilarious and wonderful. And the song Girls just wanna have fun is just perfect for the scene. Emily Gilmore rocks on the stage and it blew me away as I would never expect her to have so much fun. Actually in this episode Emily was having the greatest time ever, I have never seen her so enjoying herself before. You, go girl.
The Chilton storyline was also interesting and funny. And Rory has the cutest pyjama :)
Very very enjoyable and very very feel-good. Great episode overall.

- TriviaWhile discussing Luke's apparent lack of female companions, Lorelai jokes: "Maybe he has a secret life. Maybe he's got a little chippy stowed away in Mount Pilot." That is a reference to the fictional town of "Mount Pilot", which is often mentioned by the characters on "The Andy Griffith Show", a popular sitcom from the '60s.
- GoofsLuke says that the fastest way from Stars Hollow to Hartford is to take the I-5, which runs along the west coast of the United States, not through Connecticut.
