When Lorelai is describing her dream, she is trying to think of the name of the auto body shop owner. At first he is the skinny guy and then he is is short and fat.
Rory asks Lane 'You swear? On the life of the lead singer of Blur?' to which Lane replies 'On the soul of Nico, I swear to you that I have not seen Dean with another girl.' The lead singer of Blur is named Damon Albarn, not Nico. However Lane is simply swearing on the soul of another of her favourite artists, she is not saying Nico is the lead singer of Blur.
As Lorelai and Luke are sitting in her kitchen talking about Rachel and how he's used to living alone. He says something about using milk and then coming back to the fridge and finding it in the exact same spot and Lorelai says, "Oh, we don't even keep milk in the house." Yet earlier, Rory (also in their kitchen) took out of the fridge a big glass bottle of milk, which Lorelai took a big chug out of.
In the earlier episodes of Season 1 the house didn't have the entry way into the living room, a piano was siting against the wall. No archway. Then in this episode there is now an archway in the wall to open up the living room that you can now see the door.
Rory and Dean dated for 3 months and the fact that he had a little sister never came up or she never visited his house or met his family.
When Rory finds the "Dean Box" in the hall closet and Lorelai tries to convince her that she'll be happy she kept it, the boom is visible above Rory's head just before she kisses Lorelai on the cheek.
Clara tells Rory that she is going to be a Girl Scout one day, and she is currently a Brownie. A girl doesn't become a Girl Scout after being a Brownie because a Brownie is one of the levels of the Girl Scouts. The levels of Girl Scouts are: Daisies (Grades K-1), Brownies (Grades 2-3), Juniors (Grades 4-5), Cadettes (Grades 6-8), Seniors (Grades 9-10), and Ambassadors (Grades 11-12.)
