    Marion and Emily Rock!

The hilarious interplay between Emily and her mother in law, (played by the amazing Marion Ross) is one of the highlights of this episode. It reminds me of the relationship between Ralph Kramden and his mother in law (The Honeymooners) who makes constant digs at her detested son in law. Emily holds her own as she always does, but she has definitely met her match and then some, thus enhancing the great comedic moments during the very funny confrontations between these two women. Kudos to these superb actresses, Marion Ross and Kelly Bishop!

    That'll Do Pig

Rory and Dean end up being friends again. Emily and Trix have a hilarious and interesting relationship, I honestly feel sorry for Emily sometimes. Lorelai teaches Emily how to stand up to Trix and that's when we get the grand line of "that'll do pig, that'll do". The only thing I don't like in this episode is Francine.

"It's fine all we have to do is pay the ransom then we get the bus boy back" I laugh so hard every time Michelle says this!!
