I love Gilmore Girls but hate this episode

I've watched the whole series so many times that I've lost count. It's my all time favourite series. But whenever this episode comes on I always skip it. The annoying neighbour just grates my nerves. Nothing fun or entertaining about his personality. Which is weird because the whole series is full of characters who should be irritating but you love them anyway. But not this guy. Next!

Trivia
While on the phone with Peyton Sanders, a voice-over has Lorelai saying that his jet just got back "from Maui," while her lips appear to say "from Bali." This episode aired ten days after a car bomb attack in Bali left 202 dead and 209 injured.

Goofs
Emily tells Lorelai the auction was on Tuesday. But before Rory and Lorelai go for Friday night dinner, Lorelai is on the phone with the people who held the auction. She tells them she went to their auction yesterday. But "yesterday" would have been Thursday, not Tuesday.
