They should have done a Soap crossover.

Blanche is feeling a little unloved, but her spirits are lifted when she reconnects with Steven, an old flame. An increasingly cheerful and sunny Rose convinces Dorothy and Sophia to join a positivity group that she's been attending.

It definitely made me chuckle; it's a good episode with a couple of good gags. The hospital scene was a comedy gold moment; so funny. It didn't really have the serious side for balance.

Wonderful to see the terrific Robert Mandan here, a brilliant comedy actor. What a shame this was the only episode he appeared in. They should have done a little Soap crossover and had him here as Chester. Sophia, once again, is on great form; that scene where she talks about some artist, Picasso, is too funny.

I know it's the '90s and that some of the fashions are grotesque (Rose's jumper!), but look how elegant some of them are-the lady taking the positivity class is so chic. It's perhaps not a classic episode, but definitely worth watching and still funny.

    7/10.

    • Goofs
At about 10:58, after Blanche gets the phone call telling her that Steven's had a heart attack, she & the girls go into the kitchen from the living room. Each time the door swings open as they walk into the kitchen, you can see that there's suddenly no furniture in the living room behind them. For some reason the set appears to be empty as all the furniture is gone.
    • Quotes

Rose Nylund: Did I ever tell you about my cousin, Vicdor Friggin'? He tried to go it alone in a three-legged race. Well, you know, what happened to him?

Dorothy Zbornak: Please! Please Rose! I don't want to hear about your friggin' cousin.
